I’ve been a writer for as long as I can remember. By third grade, I was already filling up notebooks with love stories, daydreaming about characters who felt a little like me and a little like who I wanted to be.
Eventually, that passion turned into a career, I spent years ghostwriting romance under other names before finally taking the leap to write and publish the stories that feel most like home to me: sapphic love stories for readers who crave warmth, joy, and connection.
For so long, I wrote about couples that didn’t quite reflect my world, and it hit me that the stories I wanted to tell weren’t the ones I was getting to write.
So I started creating what I wanted to see more of: romances between women that are tender, trope-y, and full of heart.
My books are meant to feel like curling up under a blanket, sipping something warm, and realizing you’re exactly where you’re meant to be.
I need a Theo in my life 😭😭 I wish they had communicated a bit more about their fears and stuff, but I love good drama so it's fine. I can't even describe how I felt while reading it. The book totally captivated me and I wish it all existed in real life.
Do you remember the feeling of your first crush? Not the one that the world knew about, but the one that gave you butterflies just by thinking about them. This book is THAT feeling encapsulated. The way I GASPED at some of these scenes was comical. I could not stop kicking my feet throughout this story!
This may be a new comfort read for me. Not only did I feel so connected to the storyline, but I could see a little of both MCs in myself. Reading a sports romance will always be my favorite genre, but Tip In really had a hold on me. I found that I couldn’t put it down, and hoped more pages would pop up so I could continue following Theo and Maya’s relationship!
The yearning is written phenomenally and made it very hard to put down. This book is definitely filling a gap in the market for sapphic sports romance! The fake dating plot is pretty weak and doesn’t really impact the story much but regardless I still really enjoyed the read and getting to know the characters. I hope there’s more to come in this universe.
I was hooked! This sapphic romance totally stole my heart! It’s my first WLW book, and I loved every second of it. The slow burn was so satisfying, and watching Maya and Theo’s relationship develop was just awesome.
Overall: This was such a sweet, fun, and enjoyable read!! Josie Mae made it so easy to fall in love with Maya and Theo! Both of our FMCs have lively, exciting lives and full personalities.
Seeing them come together was beautiful! I could hardly put this book down! 🥰
